Ghana Regions

Ancient Ghana was divided into ten regions. The regions were: Western Ghana, Central Ghana, Greater Accra, Eastern Ghana, Volta, Ashanti, Brong-Ahafo, Northern Ghana, Upper West Ghana and Upper East Ghana. All the states have their own regional minister who represents his own state to the whole Ghanaian government.external image ghana1.jpg
